Our Beginnings Inc. (OBI) was founded on August 31, 2006. The organization’s business model focuses on the concept of strategic outsourcing and partnership. The organization’s president and founder is Arnell Barley. Arnell is a profound visionary that firmly believes in the phenomenal principles of giving and the law of reciprocation, “give from your heart to those in need, and then everything will be good for you.”
She is a ground-breaking entrepreneur who is convinced that the future of successful women is purpose and destiny driven. She is a woman of many God-given gifts and talents that include but not limited to public speaking and creative writing. Her demeanor is professional, loyal, humble, but yet balanced with confidence. Arnell’s leadership characteristics exemplify integrity in all facets of life.
From the very beginning of Arnell’s public relations and health care career, she acknowledged the importance to positively impact the lives of hurting women that experience cultural and socio-economical challenges, disappointments, failures, and obstacles in life. That level of awareness alone empowered her to make a vow to aid in the cultivation of breaking the life–cycle obstacles for today's millennium women, not to just exist as a “human services” entity, but most importantly to demonstrate a heart of compassion and rebuild upon the underdeveloped attributes of one woman at a time.
Our Beginnings Inc. (OBI) is a not-for-profit 501(3C) organization that provides mentorship and life coach services to underprivileged women in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, District of Columbia, South Africa and Europe.
